North West Equestrian Expo

Enjoyable week had by students

Cowra High School was represented by four Year 11 Students at the North West Equestrian Expo at Coonabarabran.  Samuel Frazer, Lillee Felton, Jacqueline Dresser and Lucy Pattingale competed in the annual 5 day event on 31st May to 5 June.

Our students participated in a vast array of disciplines including Horse Ball, Combined Training, Working Horse Challenge, Polocrosse, Team Penning, Team Barrels and the Warrumbungles Way. 

We teamed up with students from Coonabrabran High School and Braidwood Central School to make up number for the team events.  The students favourite event was the Polocrosse!  They loved the rough and tumble of this energetic sport.

Thank you to each of the students parents for taking almost a week from work to take their child to this wonderful event.
