Learning about the Pork Industry

On Wednesday 16 May some of our Agriculture students, Mr Cole and Mr Dunk went along to the Annual Bedgerabong Youth Pig Show.

 It was a very educational day, providing students with a “hands-on” approach to the Australian Pig Industry.

Activities on the day included Butchering and Artificial Insemination demonstrations. Students participated in Junior Judging, Show Wash & Preparation, Pig Handling and Ultra sounding.
