It wasn't the sunniest day but we went to Bundoora park anyway to compete in Bridge Inn District Cross Country. When we arrived other schools, who were also competing where already there.

First to compete was the under 10's boys who ran 2 km, Phoenix finished in 6th place and Brodie in 8th place. Next was the under 10's girls. Chloe was the only girl representing our school in that race. She placed 19th. After that it was the under 11 boys. Jesse finished in 6th place.

Soon after, the under 11 girls raced. The girls who competed where Abbey with the score of 29th place and Piper with the score of 12th place.

When that finished the under 12/13's boys ran. Zak was the only boy competing from our school in that round and he place 14th. Finally it was the under 12/13 girls race. The girls who competed where Carla with 11th place and Rebecca with 32nd place. The students who finished in the top 10 were Brodie , Phoenix and Jesse, made it to the Northern Metro Cross Country.

Altogether we tried our personal best and everyone did great!

Sport Captains, Finnen, Oscar and Taj with 7/8/9 Fast Track students where tested in trying conditions in Anglesea. Here are their thoughts:

The Year 7, 8, 9 Fast Track students went to Anglesea for a camp. We did canoeing, surfing, mountain bike riding and lots of fun activities that tested us physically and mentally. The camp gave us time to bond and work with each other.

On the first day of camp we got straight into canoeing and mountain bike riding which was run by Great Ocean Road Adventure Tours. We saw some awesome scenery riding through bush trails and paddling through the river.

The next day we braved the cold conditions during surf lessons run by Go Ride a Wave. It was fun and challenging for everyone.

The camp to Anglesea was truly an amazing experience some fun and challenging activities.

It was an amazing and exciting experience for all staff and students. Thank you to Rob, Josh, Marcus, Jackie, Marc and Nat for the opportunity.
