BYOD
For all students who have been using a BYOD this year, your wireless certificate expires on Friday, 16 December. This means that you can no longer access the school network after that date. Students will need to take your device to the IT technicians either before school or during recess/lunch time to have a new certificate created in order to continue using your device on the network in 2017.
If you are unable to take your device to the IT techs office before the deadline, it will need to be done in first week of school 2017.
Please contact the general office to speak to an IT Tech if you require further information.

The junior girls rugby team at Melton Secondary College is a force to be reckoned with.
The 13-player team was formed only last year, but they’ve already smashed glass ceilings. They were crowned state champions in the Melbourne Storm Robbie Kearns Shield competition last year and finished second this year despite numerous setbacks.
School sports co-ordinator Gerard Darcy said he was proud of the girls who were achieving outstanding things while having fun. “This year we couldn’t train as much, we lost a few girls and it was a much stronger competition than last year,” Mr Darcy said.
“But the girls fought hard and came runners-up. They were hoping to win, but to get second in the state is a wonderful achievement.”
While still a relatively new sport at the school, rugby is quickly gaining a stronghold, Mr Darcy said. He said the school had some of the strongest rugby teams in the state, with seven students already having received rugby scholarships at sports schools.
