Be careful leaning on it, though. This fence is partially electrified, and costs a million dollars a year to maintain that's enough to fly from London to New York nearly 2000 times! At night, the fence is illuminated by red and white fluorescent lamps and patrolled by 23 full-time employees.
The Dingo Fence extends all the way from Brisbane down to the Nullarbor Plain in South Australia. If you wanted to walk it, you would need to clear a full six months in your calendar and invest In a good pair of walking shoes.
