CLASS NEWS

K-1-2 Class

Dear parents and carers of K-1-2 Students,

As part of our science unit for this term we are learning about being protected by shelters from the environment. On Friday 5th November we will be making a shelter for our teddy bears. In preparation for this, could you please send some materials? Examples of materials could be:

  • Cardboard boxes - tissue boxes, cereal boxes etc
  • Newspaper
  • Egg cartons
  • Clean, used plastic bags
  • string/ yarn
  • Old fabric/ clean rags

As a class we have had a discussion about what we could use to make this shelter out of. Throughout the week your child is welcome to bring in materials and I will store them in readiness for Friday. On Friday morning can your child please bring in one teddy or plush animal?

Thankyou

Tara Langfield
