College Captains' Report

Exciting times ahead with the reopening of the state and restrictions easing, allowing us to commence a staged return to onsite learning!

Last Friday was the first time back for Year 7s and 10s since lockdown started. The Year 8s and 9s are also returning on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was very exciting for everyone to be able to see teachers and friends again in person. We are all excited about returning onsite full time very soon, with the further lifting of the restrictions due to the vaccine numbers going up. 

When we were onsite we got to see the amazing progress to the school’s extension with the Learning Hub, bike sheds and Food Tech room. 

Two weeks ago the Year 9s had their Wellbeing Day and our Year 10s have theirs on Wednesday. Recently we have also had the amazing chance to listen to great guest speakers such as Alexandra Viney (Paralympian) and Sonya Karras on drug and alcohol awareness for the Year 10s.

We hope everyone’s staying safe and enjoying the lifting of restrictions.
