Senior School News

Our Year 12 students have completed their classes and are preparing to begin their exams. It has been a long journey to get to this point, but the Year 12 students have done a great job remaining focused and staying positive. It was great to see the students enjoy the final week of classes and the Celebration Day was a great event. Good luck to all students doing Year 12 exams over the next few weeks.

Current Year 9 -11 students have been given a draft of the subjects they have been allocated for 2022. These were posted recently and students had some time to request changes. We are finalising a few things with some students who have gaps in their program due to subject clashes and sorting out some waiting lists.  Once this has been done we will post the modified list. Students will have another opportunity to change their subjects during the transition week.

Our Year 11 students will begin their exams on the 19th November and continue until the 24th November with Year 10 exams also on the 23rd and 24th. The Year 10 exams will only be a small range of subjects such as English, Maths and Science subjects. A reminder to all students that we want the focus of the exam period to be a chance to experience an exam week and learn from that experience. We will be using the progress throughout the semester to confirm that students have chosen appropriate subjects for 2022 and the exams will only form a small part of that decision this year.

Year 12 News

At the time of writing this newsletter entry, our Year 12 students are completing their final days of formal secondary school classes. This is an exciting time for our students and we are in the process of reorganising celebratory events.  COVID continues to impact what we can and cannot do and as soon as details are finalised we will inform you.

In preparation for a smooth exam period, each student has been sent their exam advice slip and the VCE Exams Navigator 2021. If students have misplaced these documents, then they need to come to the Senior School Office for another copy.

For the examination period the emergency contact numbers are 0436444917 or the school number 95717873.

I wish all students all the very best for the upcoming exams.
