What's Happening in Maths

Last term Year 7 - 9 students completed the topic, Patterns and Algebra. We had some huge growth from our students including; Bek Howarth, Jacob Compton, Alyx Taylor, Noah Paroissien, Emma Foden, Ayla Richardson, Kailah Jones and Lucas Nguyen, these students will receive a growth certificate for Patterns and Algebra. We also completed a two-week challenge of Mathletics - Winners were Lia Amor and Zac Bissett. Congratulations! Both students received a prize. 

In Term 4, Years 7- 9 are working on the topic Geometry. We look forward to seeing the amazing learning growth and engagement from our students. More and more assignments have been completed at home by Year 7 and  Year 8 students. We love seeing the progress in your assignments. The due date has been extended and details are provided on compass.

Congratulations to Anna Harper who got the spiders and beetles puzzle correct from last newsletter. Answers were 9 Spiders and 17 Beetles.
