My first term as the seniors Art teacher at Ivanhoe was certainly not what I expected, but that didn’t stop the students from being enthusiastic about our topic of Street Art and learning about Keith Haring. 

Even with limited resources at home, so many students were engaged in Art and created some amazing, colourful, creative and meaningful artworks. Here is a video, a sort of virtual art exhibition, showcasing the work of all the students that contributed to Art during this unit. 

I have also included some simple creative challenges that your child might want to try over the school holidays, there is one for every day, but even if you only have a go at one activity, as Pablo Picasso once said ‘The important thing is to CREATE’. Have a relaxing break, keep your creative juices flowing.
