Time with our buddies 4M and FC
On ‘R U OK day’ 4M and FC had a buddy catch up via WebEx. We listened to a story, shared our learning, did some Art, and did a scavenger hunt. We had such a wonderful time and loved seeing each other again.

Fractions in the home
Year 4s were given the opportunity to make fractions with objects around their home. Firstly they watched: Fractions around the House. They then uploaded photos of their fractions they found or created in the home.
Finally the students highlighted the importance of understanding fractions in their daily lives via their voice reflection.
Below are some terrific photos demonstrating the understanding of fractions in the home:
No Bake Cooking
On Tuesday Miss Bryant (our pre-service teacher) ran a no-bake cooking class with 4F and 4M at our 1pm WebEx meeting.
The students had collected all their ingredients prior to the lesson.
Ms Bryant taught a step-by-step lesson to produce the most delicious lemon slice!
We learned some fantastic new vocabulary, such as ‘zest’. We also practiced some terrific fractions skills. Well done to everyone that participated and thanks Miss Bryant!
The Morrisons enjoyed their slice after dinner – it was scrumptious!
