Dad's Day Out

What a great day we had with a wonderful bunch of Dad's from GSPV on Saturday. We headed over to a farm on the Yorke Peninsula and admired Greg's man cave and amazing selection of cars.

He shared about his family farm, the man cave itself and his collectable cars, all having their own story that kept us intrigued. We took many photographs of us sitting in and starting the car's. The day just escalated from there.

We shared in a BBQ lunch and then hit the Go-cart track! We had amazing time running the go-carts including a few friendly races! I think its fair to say the day was enjoyed by all and planning to get back there again next year, so keep your eye out for a return trip next year!

Growing Faith at Home

I was talking with some friends the other day. We were pondering… ‘If Jesus had a favourite bible verse, what would it be?’ One friend thought it might be something like Mark 12:30, 31 “Love God and love others’ (paraphrased). It is interesting that this text comes up in this week’s GFH resource. There is a creative and thought provoking idea to try out with your family in the ‘Creative Response’ section and a, well, challenging idea to consider under the ‘Service’ key.
