Let the celebrations begin!
The weekend of our 40th anniversary celebrations has arrived. My sincere thanks to the small, yet incredibly hard working team that has passionately undertaken to ensure the weekend on one to remember. Thank you ... Matt Schmidt, Karen Schoff, Georgie Schuster, Tim Eckert, Amy Schultz and Matt Modra. Thanks also to the Good Shepherd congregation staff for your support and encouragement.
As we have dug through the archives, researched, interviewed, explored and wondered, the true significance of the 40-year journey has become real. From a vacant paddock in the north east, God inspired, guided and has sustained us. I am grateful.
Now... of course every anniversary needs memorabilia, and a Lutheran School anniversary isn't complete without the launch of a commemorative Port and matching wine glasses.

Staff News
Ashleigh Willoughby will conclude her service here at Good Shepherd at the close of the year. Ashleigh's husband has won the opportunity to embark on new interstate adventures and learning through his own employment. Ashleigh has been an integral part of our team and will be missed.
Please pray for Ashleigh and Jordan as they prepare for this transition.
Remembrance Day
The recent install of our new flag poles adjacent the oval, provides the perfect backdrop for our 2021 Remembrance Day Service. All students will participate in a short (5-7 minute) service which will commence just before 11.00am on the 11th of November. Visitors are welcome. We especially invite the presence of school 'defence families'. Please let us know via the school office if you are able to attend.

End of Year Events
Music Students Concert
17 November - Wednesday
Parents and friends of students who have been taking music instruction this year are invited to attend a concert to be held in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Students will play a short musical piece with their instrument of choice to entertain the audience. Children are asked to come in their summer uniform. Programs will be available on the night.

Curiosity Blessing Service
24 November - Wednesday
A blessing service for Curiosity 'graduates'.
When: 9.00am
Graduating students lead Worship
1 December - Wednesday
A favourite act of service for the graduating class – leading chapel for a final time – a contribution to the worship life of the school.
When: 8.50am
Presentation Assembly
3 December - Friday
A recognition of the contribution the graduating class has made to Good Shepherd, through the celebration of achievements, and presentation of awards. The 2022 School Captains will also be announced.
When: 9.00am
Graduating students Celebration Evening
5 December - Sunday
An evening of celebration for Year 6 graduating students, including a presentation involving parents.

School Closing Worship
7 December - Tuesday
The official close to the 2021 School Year. A celebration of our Vision and Values. Recognition of long serving and leaving staff.

Graduation Ceremony
7 December - Tuesday
A ceremony that celebrates the milestone of graduation and blesses our Year 6 students as they conclude their time at Good Shepherd.
