Principal's Message

                                                                     Mrs Josie Crisara

There is a right time for everything.
Everything on earth has its special season.
There is a time to be born and a time to die.
There is a time to plant and a time to pull up plants.
There is a time to kill and a time to heal.
There is a time to destroy and a time to build.
There is a time to cry and a time to laugh.
There is a time to be sad and a time to dance.
There is a time to throw away stones and a time to gather them.
There is a time to hug and a time not to hug.
There is a time to look for something and a time to stop looking for it.
There is a time to keep things and a time to throw things away.
There is a time to tear apart and a time to sew together.
There is a time to be silent and a time to speak.
There is a time to love and a time to hate.
There is a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

As we move through into the spring season we are reminded about this beautiful verse in scripture: that there is a season and a time for everything. Our lives are a mixture of things that bring joy, pleasure and happiness, but life can also bring pain and hardship. We know that things do not always remain the same and we need to learn to accept and adjust to an ever-changing landscape. Our experiences of late require patience and understanding.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter are the seasons we know but the seasons can also be the result of events and life experiences. No matter what the season is now, we know that there will be seasons of joy and certainty but also seasons of change. In the situations we are faced with, sometimes the secret is to be content in any and every circumstance. In times of change, uncertainty and instability we are told in the bible that the one certainty is God’s grace and love. This was the theme of our Chapels this week and we remind ourselves that God’s love is steadfast. Seasons will come and go, but God will always be there.

School Holidays

As holidays approach students and families should use this time to rest and relax. Do not underestimate the importance of downtime in our busy lives. We know our Year 12 students will be working hard to prepare for exams in Term 4.
