Kelly Club 

What have we been up to?

With the beautiful warm weather we have loved being able to play outside on the footy field and on the monkey bars.  Cricket and ping-pong have been very popular games this week, with some of the older children helping to teach the younger kids technique and the rules.

After making our delicious cupcakes last week we decided we wanted to continue the cooking theme and that is how our creative chefs week came about.  We all sat down as a group and the children gave a lot of ideas on food they wanted to make with Pizza, Fruit Kebabs and Pasta being the most popular.  We made our own quesadillas and toasties, which were group favourites.  Great work guys!  Can’t wait to see what yummy food we make for the rest of the week!

Kinder Corner

The past couple of weeks the children seemed to enjoy the company of the big buddies. They participated in outdoor and indoor activities such as hide and seek, climbing the monkey bars, rope swings, soccer, ping-pong, making bracelets, drawing etc. They seemed to enjoy the cooking experiences and be involved in discussions around healthy eating. Children also had the opportunity to measure the flour, mix the berries and see the colour change.

Holiday Program

With the holidays fast approaching we are excited to announce Kelly Club will be running a holiday program at Preshil.  We will run from the 8th-12th of April and will have forms available shortly.  If you have any questions or would like further information speak to Hannah.

Just a reminder about our 24 hour cancellation policy. If you have made a booking with us for your child we just require 24 hours written notice of cancellation.

The Kelly Club

The Kelly Club OSHC Program runs at Arlington Monday to Friday, following the end of the school day at 3.30pm.  You can find out more about Kelly Club here.

The Program is focused around sports, cooking, art and craft activities as well as structured ‘free-time’ after a busy day at school.   Activities are optional for students and incorporated into themed subjects each week that give children the opportunity to extend their learning outside of the school classroom. Children have opportunities to explore and discover through resources provided each day.
