Student Representative Council

What is SRC?

SRC stands for the Student Representative Council, and people from all ages and year levels can join. We are the student voice of Wantirna College and we are trying to improve some of the facilities around Wantirna. We want to help the students of our College to create momentum for positive changes in our school and enable students to input their ideas for improvements.

The free dress day!

The free dress day on Tuesday the 5th of March was a huge success, and everyone looked amazing in their House colours. It was great to see people of all ages getting into the House spirit. We raised a lot of money for the House charities and the Zooper Doopers sold during lunch time were very popular. If you have feedback regarding the free dress day, make sure you share this information with the SRC by responding to the survey sent to your school email 27/03/19, or by emailing one of the addresses found at the end of the newsletter.

Reminder:

Just a reminder that ANZAC Day is happening during the first week of Term Two. There will be SRC members selling ANZAC Day badges in preparation for this day of commemoration. We will be selling badges around the school during recess and lunch times, and also during some class times closer to the date.

The themes for this year are:

Term 1: House spirit

Term 2: Diversity

Term 3: Environment

Term 4: Celebrations
