Vicarious Velodrama

For the past 5 years of the Tour de France, a group of local cycling enthusiasts have organised a competition based around the Tour de France to raise money to support local charities. Recipients to date have included the Aspect School at Terrigal and both campuses of Glenvale School. This year, the Special Education Centre at Henry Kendall High School will benefit from the fund raising efforts of the team at Vicarious Velodrama.

This year we are very fortunate they have aimed to raise enough funds to purchase tricycles and bicycles for our kids at the Special Education Centre. Kel Butcher and Graham Judd have done a wonderful job with their fundraising event. It looks like they will be able to purchase a hand cycle (valued at about $4,000)  and 3 tricycles, plus four helmets for the Special Education Centre.
