Principal's Message

From the Principal

A very warm welcome back to students, parents and teachers, I hope you all had a great break. This term is as usual a very hectic one. Some of the significant events this term include: School Reports, the Year 5 Keepit Excursion, Kindergarten Orientation, summer sports, the Year 6 Sydney Excursion, various Masses and Liturgies and a great deal of academic work.

We also warmly welcome Tatum Johns, our new Aboriginal Education Assistant, to our team. Tatum comes to us highly recommended and she is very excited to be with us.

Next Tuesday is an important day in the educational life of the school as we host two parent workshops on The Big Write initiative at the school. It would be great to see as many parents as possible attend either of these sessions as they provide a very good insight into the program but also show how parents/carers can support their children at home with writing. Please see below for further details.

October in the Church’s Calendar is the month of the Holy Rosary. Catholics are encouraged to make a special effort to pray our Lady’s Rosary during this month and I would encourage you to set some time aside with your family to do so. We will be providing opportunities for students to say the Rosary at school.
