Wine & Cheese Night 2019 

Thank you to everyone who attended this years Wine & Cheese night.  A speical thank you goes to Tania Krizek for the delicious food and to the Ellis Family for their alcohol donation.

St. Columba’s 2019 Book Fair

We will be holding our annual Book Fair in Week 4 upstairs in the Open Learning area. There will be a variety of books to choose from, including the latest books selected for CBCA Book Week. Everyone is welcome to view the books during school hours.

Students will have the opportunity to view books in class groups.

Purchases can be made via EFTPOS or cash at the following times:

Monday 28th October - 8.30 - 9.00am and 3:30pm - 4pm

Tuesday 29th October- 8.30 - 9.00am and 3.30 - 4pm

Wednesday 30th October - 8.30 - 9.00am and 3.30 - 4pm

Thursday 30th October - 8.30 - 9.00am and 3.30 - 4pm

Friday 1st November - 8.30 - 9.00am and 10am-11am (following the Grandparents and Special Person’s Liturgy)

Every purchase made at the Book Fair helps support our school. We look forward to celebrating the 2019 Book Fair with you!

Condolences

On behalf of the school community we wish to express our condolences to Bern whose father passed away last week, Justine whose father in law passed away on Friday and Sonya Sherman whose father passed away last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this time.

Congraluations Christian 

Christian Fernandez in July submitted 3 photographs he composed, edited and emailed to the Glen Eira City Council “My Brother Jack Competition”

3 photography categories were available with over 750 entries, Christian was shortlisted and invited to an awards ceremony.   Christian won the first prize for category Junior Photographer.

Christian’s winning image is being displayed at the Glen Eira Town Hall. The image itself was taken at night from Patterson train station.  Well done Christian an outstanding result.
