Preschool storytime continues to be a lot of fun.
On Tuesday 30th July, 12 children enjoyed reading Pirate stories, singing pirate songs and making pirate swords. On Tuesday 6th August our theme was dragons with some great stories, songs and the chance to make Dragon masks.
Next Tuesday we will have a unicorn theme and the following week will be Prince, Princesses and Knights.
Preschool Storytime is for children of all ages who do not yet attend school. We have children from 6 months to 5 years attending regularly.
A reminder that we will be holding a dress-up day for Book Week on Friday 23rd August. As this years theme is “Reading is my secret power”, children can dress up along the super hero theme or as a book character. We look forward to seeing some imaginative costumes.
All ordered items were sent out to classrooms on Tuesday 6th August. Thanks to all the families who support this program. The points we collect help purchase new books for our library.
Happy Reading!
