The excerpt from the uniform policy below sets out the prescribed uniform for all students at Greenvale Primary School.

PLEASE NOTE:

Tights and trackpants worn under the Summer Dress are not part of our school uniform. The Summer Dress can only be worn with white or black socks.
Black track pants or trousers are to be plain black with no stripes or other markings.
Shoes must be predominately black or white.

GIRLS' SUMMER UNIFORM

Black shorts, black street wear trousers or skorts.

School white or green polo shirt with school logo.

White or black socks.

Black shoes, boots, sandals with toe area covered or runners black or white. Black or white laces. No bright coloured footwear.

School bomber jacket with school logo.

Black bucket sun hat with school logo.

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data August 2019 (NCCD)

All Australian schools are required to participate in the annual collection of information for the NCCD on Students with Disability.

The NCCD counts the number of students with disability receiving adjustments, allowing them to fully participate in their education.

Every school is required to submit data to the NCCD. The information gathered helps teachers, principals, education authorities and governments better understand and support students with disability. The data collected does not identify individual students.

The Star Attendance Trophy

The Star Attendance Trophy is awarded at assembly each week to any class with the lowest student absences in the previous week.

CONGRATULATIONS:

Week 3 – 1BW with only 2 absences for the week.

Late Arrivals to School

School starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3:30pm. There are still too many students arriving to school late and departing early.

Term 2 100% Attendance Prizes

The Attendance Awards acknowledge and reward those students with perfect or near perfect attendance and punctuality in the previous term.

In Term 2 the 54 students with 100% attendance and on time every day were entered into the draw for the $10 canteen vouchers.

The lucky winners were Aiza 5AS, Mason 2HW, Degantha 2HW and Matilda 5BM.

The 112 students who missed only 0.5 to 2 days of school, and were on time every other day in Term 1 were included in the prize draw for the $5 canteen vouchers.

The lucky winners of these were Ivy 5LD, Ethan G 1/2L, Katie 4MM and Eva ORC.

A big thank you to Mary Spiteri in the canteen for her generous donation of the vouchers to the value of $60.
