Year 2 Excursion Report

W. Finn

The Year 2 students had a fantastic time learning about food from 'Paddock to Plate'.  Students visited Woolworths last Friday.  The very kind staff there, Sam, Meryl and Lisa took them for a behind-the-scenes look at Woollies on 15th Street where they were treated to lots of food tastings. Our fruit salad was delicious.  After a yummy lunch at the Plaza, they explored the SRS Benetook Farm, picking strawberries, meeting chickens and getting lost in the maze.  It was a great start to the annual Sleepover.
