Sunflower Room

What happened in November? 

Dear Families,

Einstein said "Play is the highest form of research" and we have been doing some serious play in our sunflower room. The sunflowers have been counting in a variety of fun ways like playing snakes and ladders, doing floor puzzles, fixing mini jig saws, reading counting books and using flash cards.

The children have been showing confidence in recognising numbers and quantities relating to numerals 0-5 and are gaining  more confidence in the numerals 6-10.

And ho,ho,ho.......its that time of the year again!! The children have been busy building our Christmas tree from recycled boxes and making hand made ornaments .
