Part of preparing the Year 7, 8 and 9 Art students for a possible school closure for Term 2, teachers created art kits for their students. In these kits were different graded drawing pencils, an eraser and two sheets of paper. One sheet was the printed line drawing exercise and the other sheet was blank, for students to extend themselves by demonstrating their knowledge, in a still life drawing.

The tonal exercise allowed students to replicate the patterns from the top half of the handout, in the space provided below. With the use of line and tone, students were able to give the illusion of a three dimensional form.  The objects students chose to include in their still life, were personal objects and food related items from the kitchen. In the still life, students demonstrated their impressive skills in proportion, line, tone and form.
