Middle School Report

Middle School Update

This term has been so busy and it’s hard to believe we are already half way through the year!

Next term the year 8 students are sampling their first electives. Our teachers are working hard developing some really exciting and engaging programs and our year 7 students will have the chance to try a new subject!

This term our year 7 students were lucky enough to visit Whittlesea Tech and participate in a ‘Lamp Design Challenge’. Over the two days students worked in pairs to design and build a lamp prototype that would inspire people between the ages of 4-11 to read. On the final day the  students presented their ideas and we were very impressed with the variety of designs as well as the innovation behind some of their designs and concepts.

Middle Years Leadership would like to congratulate all the students on the wonderful semester we have had and are looking forward to the next six months.  We would also like to thank the ongoing support from all the parents.
