Sarah Smith's Farewell

Dear Hillsmeade Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to inform our school community that I have accepted a new position as an Assistant Principal at Clyde Creek PS helping our ex-Principal Mrs Bray. This is a bittersweet time, as I farewell our wonderful community to embark on a new educational journey. 

Nearly 15 years ago I began my teaching career at Hillsmeade Primary School. It is a privilege to have supported our amazing students as a teacher and school leader during this time. I have worked in partnership with remarkable teachers, inspiring leaders and a warm and welcoming community of families.

I would like to acknowledge the dedication of our staff, past and present, and the many students who have transitioned through our school over the years. I have worked with an incredible Leadership Team and am grateful for the opportunities I have experienced to develop in this wonderful profession. The growth and success of our students, staff and school fills me with immense pride. 

I will treasure such positive memories from my time at our school and thank you all. I wish our families the very best and will look forward to hearing about the continued achievements of the students and staff at Hillsmeade.
