Important staffing announcement

I am hoping this does not come as a complete shock to the community as Sarah made an announcement at last week's assembly, that she will be leaving Hillsmeade. I would like to formally announce that Miss Sarah Smith has taken up the position as Assistant Principal at Clyde Creek Primary School, supporting Jodie Bray to set up and open a new school. This is an exciting opportunity for Sarah and I would like to wish her all the best for her new adventure. 

Personally, I have only worked with Sarah for a short time, but quickly realized the positive impact she has had on the students and school community. Having worked in a number of schools over my career, I feel qualified to make comment about how lucky Hillsmeade has been to have Sarah on staff. Her work has been outstanding, and will continue to contribute to the positive outcomes for all students over the years to come.

I have seen first hand over the past few days, the impact this news has had on the staff and I'm sure will have for the students and families.

Thank you Sarah, for your passion, intelligence, and commitment to education. Enjoy this next chapter!

Assistant Principal Roles

Congratulations and thank you to Mr John Cardamone for stepping into the Acting Assistant Principal role leading Student Wellbeing for the remainder of the 2021 school year. 

We are currently going through the process to determine a suitable replacement for Sarah (Assistant Principal leading Teaching and Learning) and will notify the school community as soon as this process is completed.
