COVID-19 Update

Remote learning update and new onsite regulations starting Friday September 3rd
Dear families, correspondence has been sent out today to all families who have been accessing the onsite learning at school. Please ensure that you complete all bookings for all days required with your updated work permits, signed by your employer. If you have been accessing the supervision roster and have already provided the school with paperwork under any of the vulnerable categories, we already have your documentation and thank you.
With only 2 weeks left of the school term, we will continue the learning programs right through to Friday 17th September at 12pm when school will conclude for the day. If you are intending on booking your child/ren onsite on the last day, please make a note that school learning programs conclude at 12pm and all teachers will be planning for Term 4. Onsite supervision is available on the last day but we strongly encourage you to have an early finish to the term if you can.
We hope to make some special learning opportunities in the last week of the term which will include a virtual footy day celebration on Thursday 16th September. All details for learning timetables will continue to b shared via Skooolbag and through the online learning site through our website.
Camp Australia ongoing Lock down update
I write to you following Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcement today that Victoria’s lockdown will be extended until at least 23rd September and face-to-face learning will not resume in Term 3. The Premier has advised the roadmap to return in Term 4 will be announced next week.
There is no change to the advice from VIC Health that Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services can continue to operate before and after school care for vulnerable children and children of essential workers.
As a result, we will continue to operate at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Primary School as we have for the start of the lockdown or as discussed previously. If your circumstances have changed, please get in contact with your Key Account Manager Andy King on 0427570219 or andy.king@campaustralia.com.au as soon as possible.
As our current booking levels until the end of Term 3 do not accurately reflect the need for care and, in order to comply with government direction, we have cancelled all previously made bookings for that period and asked families who meet the eligibility criteria and require Outside School Hours Care to book their care via the Parent Portal. Furthermore, we want to reassure you that we are taking a careful and considered approach to our service delivery to ensure the safety of your children and our staff. We have a detailed COVIDSAFE Plan that our staff are well versed in, to ensure the safety of our services and to manage the risk of COVID-19. As we have throughout this pandemic, we remain committed to supporting you and your school community in whatever way we can and to ensuring that we communicate changes as required on a timely basis.
If we can provide any assistance or support, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yours sincerely, Brittney Hensel General Manager Camp Australia
