Footy Day is coming! In this weeks assembly I have asked for videos and pictures to help get our Footy Day and Week shows looking amazing. Our last week of term will have a footy theme and a special day of footy/sport dress up on Thursday 16th September.

Over the past week we have been celebrating the huge role our Educational Support Officers (ESO's) play in our school. These wonderful ladies are often the people who get things happening behind the scenes at Fatima. In many cases they work with students who require additional learning support, liasing with classroom teachers to deliver specialised programs in one to one or small groups. They also carry out many tasks that help our school to run, here is just some of the tasks I have seen them working on this past week:
-Remote learning support
-Onsite classroom support
-Packing and delivering learning packs
-Laminating
-Prep welcome packs
-Charging and organising devices
-Wiping noses
-Helping make Father's Day gifts
-Taking Google Meets
-Running 1-1 or small group catchups
-Taking notes on learning
-Answering phones and questions (often from staff)
-First Aid
-Checking in with students and families
-And much, much more!
Quite simply Fatima would not be the place it is without our ESO's, and we are lucky to have a great bunch here who go above and beyond.
