Gail Marklew (Education Support)
- I have 2 grown up daughters and 6 grandchildren who call me Granny. Next month I’ll become a Great Granny and I’m so excited.
- I love sport and as a teenager did competitive swimming at the Old Olympic pool in Melbourne. Throughout my life I also played basketball, tennis, squash, badminton, golf and while playing netball in my 40’s ruptured my Achilles!!
- My favourite footy team is Richmond.
- I’ve lived in N.S.W., W.A. and Victoria and have visited all Australian States and Territories.
- I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled extensively overseas. On one of our trips, my husband and I bought a motorhome and travelled throughout the U.S. and Canada for 12 months. An incredible experience.
- I began my working life as a hairdresser in my teens. Since then I have had many jobs including a Medical Secretary/Audio typist, Teaching Assistant at a Specialist School and finally as an Integration Aide here at our wonderful school. My favourite work has to be being in a school environment working with kids. I absolutely love it.
