Edith Cowan University

Edith Cowan College

Edith Cowan College (ECC) is the pathway into a second year of your chosen degree at Edith Cowan University (ECU). ECC is based in Building 80, ECU Joondalup Campus West, and has Diploma courses which will help prepare students for a successful transition to University life and study.

The ECC pathway is designed for students who are capable of University study, but who are not suited to ATAR or may not meet pre-requisites to study a full ATAR load in Year 12.

Students will progress to ECC’s Diploma if they achieve a minimum 50% in four Year 12 WACE courses, plus a pass (C grade) in English.

For further information about their pathway courses, please contact the friendly team at ECC info@ecc.edu.au  or visit our website at www.edithcowancollege.edu.au.

ECU Announces Creative Arts Portfolio Entry for School Leavers

Creative potential cannot always be captured by an ATAR score. ECU’s School of Arts and Humanities has developed a new strand of the university’s experience-based entry pathway to enable eligible school leavers to gain entry into the Bachelor of Design, Arts, or Media & Communication, in majors such as Photomedia, Screen Production, Visual Arts, Fashion, Visual & Spatial Design or Games and Interactive Design.

Minimum requirements are Year 12 English General minimum grade of A or equivalent, with a minimum of one ATAR course and three General courses with at least one in an area related to your major. Applicants who can demonstrate the technical and creative potential to be successful through an application including a digital portfolio will be selected for interview with a view to commencing studies in 2022.

For more information, please see the Creative Arts Portfolio Entry webpage

UWA Early Offers

If you haven’t applied already, UWA’s Early Offers are now open to current Year 12 students for 2022 entry. Tick your application off your list so it’s one less thing you need to think about, and spend that time focusing on your final exams.
