Book Week at Trinity

Friday 27th August to Friday 3rd September

Our Book Week will need to be postponed one week, as our Book Week was due to begin on Friday next week. The new dates will be Friday 27th August to Friday 3rd September.

This year’s theme for Book week is ‘Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds’.

The children will be encouraged to ‘dress up’ as their favourite book character or something related to this theme as part of our Book Week celebrations. The ‘Dress Up Day’ will now be held on Monday 30th September and fingers crossed we hope that we will be able to gather as a whole school community for our Parade at 9am.

Across Book Week, the children will be involved in many exciting learning opportunities such as a special visit from author Michael Wagner, ‘Surprise Readers’ in the classrooms, a voting booth in the library, art activities related to the Book Week literature and more!

We encourage families to be part of this exciting week with us and we hope to see you all dressed in your favourite costume for our parade. Start thinking about your costumes now so that you are well and truly ready for the day. If you are stuck for ideas please have a chat with your child’s teacher.
