Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Dear Families,

This week has been another testing week for all of us with the continued lockdown. As parents, you are no doubt juggling your own work, supervising children at home and dealing with the restrictions currently in place.  As teachers there is nothing more we would like than to have all our children back at school learning together in their classrooms. Unfortunately the rules for us in terms of providing onsite supervision for children means that we are required to keep our numbers onsite to an absolute minimum. Therefore only those children who cannot be supervised at home  are able to attend during the lockdown period. I, like all of you, am closely watching the news, looking forward to an announcement that schools are able to reopen. In the meantime thank you all for the continuing support and patience.

First Eucharist

Sadly due to the extension in our current lockdown

we are forced to postpone our planned First Eucharist which was to be held this Sunday, 15th August at 9.30am Mass.

We know and understand that Sacraments are a special time for our students and their families and an important part of their faith journey, so once restrictions ease we will reassess and keep you abreast with new date/s moving forward.

Google Survey

We are constantly reviewing our policies and procedures in regard to Remote Learning and our school leaders are working with staff to ensure these continue to meet the needs of our children and families. Could I ask parents to complete theSchool Remote Learning Survey HERE as your input is greatly valued and will help us to continue improving the quality of our Remote Learning programs.

Assembly

Last week we had a very successful online assembly for our students at school and whilst we would love to do these together in the Multipurpose room and have parents join us, we will once again need to have our assembly online.  This week, however, we would love to have some parents join us online as well and so I have shared a link to our Assembly Google Meet HERE which will begin at 1:30 on Friday 13th August.  Hope you can join us.

Prep to Year 3 Student Led Conferences

Our Prep and Year One Student Led Conferences will be cancelled at this stage as it will be impossible for us to run these as planned. It is obviously disappointing for our children, however, until we can be confident about being able to have p[parents in the school it is a necessary step we must take.

Trinity Art Show

Trinity Art Show

Save the Date

At this stage we are still hopeful our Prep 2022 - Make a Friend afternoon,

Kind Regards
