Bread tags for Wheelchairs

Environmental Challenge for the Year!

Our whole school Environmental Challenge of collecting bread tags for Bread Tags for WheelChairs to assist disadvantaged people in South Africa is going well! Bread Tags For WheelChairs has been recycling bread tags since 2006. They are currently collecting 500kg of bread tags per month, which funds two to three wheelchairs to assist disadvantaged people in South Africa.

Thank you to the many families that are donating them and have been supporting us for a couple of years now. Throughout the year, we have collected thousands of bread tags. Pictured here are Aidan and Isabella with some of the bread tags that St Simon’s community has collected this year.

Please feel free to hand in your bread tags throughout the year. Students can place their bread tags in their classroom office tub in an envelope.

Please help us collect bread tags this year!
