Japanese News

In Term Three, when we had our Japanese Day the students learnt about origami. The students in Grades 3 to 6 were invited to make origami crane-wishing birds after we read a story called Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. Based on a true story, Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes celebrates the extraordinary courage that made one young woman a heroine in Japan.
A big THANK YOU to all the students who made the wishing birds, please look out for the display around the school.
