Hands on learning at St Simon’s 

The Grade 2 students have been learning about Minibeasts as part of their Inquiry Based Learning this term.Throughout this term the Grade 2 students will have many more opportunities to explore Stick Insects on a daily basis as they watch their very own classroom insects grow and change. 

While in Prep, the students have been observing baby chicks hatch from their shells this week as part of their learning about life cycles as part of a Biology unit of work. 

A big thank you to our wonderful Grade 2 and Prep teachers for organising hands-on experience for their students.
