Library Welcome

Welcome back to the new school year; I hope students had a chance to relax and read over the holidays. All resources borrowed for the holidays are now due back.

Library Bags

Students from Reception to Year 3 are required to bring a named Library bag for their books when they borrow from the library.  The bag can be any type large enough to fit picture books. Using a Library bag helps students carry and protect their books and ensures they get into the correct school bag to come home. New students in Reception to Year 3 will be given a special ‘welcome to the library’ bag this week during library time.

Construction materials wanted

Thursday is construction day in the Library at break time and it is always busy. Materials like empty boxes, tubes, fabric scraps, string, wool, plastic trays and orange fruit bags get used quickly. If you have any of these materials at home we would love you to ‘recycle’ them with us. The library is open from 8.30am - 8.45am and 3.15pm – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday to drop materials off.

St Paul Lutheran School App

The St Paul Lutheran SA app has all the contact information you need as a parent of St Paul. This app is different to the QKR! and Seesaw app. This is what you will use to access the St Paul parent portal.  You can contact the school office to obtain your login and password.

Meet and greet afternoon: 

On Wednesday 15 February , will be having meet and greet afternoon. Families and children will be welcome to come in to meet their child’s teacher, have a look around their classroom and enjoy a zooper dooper and catch up. Families ae welcome anytime between 3:30-5pm. We hope to see you there. 

Canteen

Rory's School Lunches are continuing to provide canteen services at St Paul in 2023. Orders can be made via the Qkr! app. Please note the cut off time for same day lunch orders is 8:30am. The Rory's Parent hotline number for late orders is 0413 575 800. This is manned from 9:30am. Late orders must be made by 10:30am. Any orders placed after 10:30am will not be delivered in time, and therefore only toasted sandwiches will be available. If you are wanting to order Sushi for your children via the QKR app, you have to order it by 8am the day before. Eg if wanting sushi for Wednesday, the order must be placed by 8am Tuesday. Parents please ensure you are supplying a fork or spoon if your child has a lunch that requires one. We do not keep plastic utensils at school and Rory’s require a charge of .10c to supply a wooden fork or spoon.
