50th Anniversary Celebrations

Last Sunday St Paul Lutheran Church hosted a thanksgiving service for the school, with a host of past staff members, students, parents, council chairs and members and volunteers. My thanks to Pastor Matt Bishop, Vicar Tom Kitson and Church Office Staff member Kylie Koelman for their work and support. We were fortunate enough to also have Lutheran Church of Australia Bishop, Paul Smith (also a former parent of St Paul Lutheran School), address us during the service.

On Monday morning the children sang happy birthday to the school and our special guests, former student Ashleigh Tresize and her children Averlie and Ivy, cut the birthday cake for us. Children shared in a 50th Anniversary treat during the afternoon.

Welcome to New Families and Students

This week we welcomed our Reception students to their first week of school, with today (Wednesday) being their first full day. In addition to our youngest children and their families, we also welcome a number of new school families with children in other year levels. We pray that you and your child/ren find yourself feeling at home in our school community. New families, please call or email the office any time you have a question. We are here to help you and your child.

2025 Enrolments

During this term, I will be conducting enrolment interviews for new families who have applied to enrol for Reception in 2025. We provide priority entry to siblings if we have their information on file. If you are a current family of St Paul and believe you may not have completed an enrolment form for your younger child, please ask at the office for a form as soon as possible. If you would like to check that you have a form in, please ask Monique Tabuena to check for you: mtabuena@stpaulba.sa.edu.au.

Vacancies for Reception fill quickly each year, however there are some places for 2023 mid-year intake and for 2024, as well as places in some other year levels. If you have friends or extended family who are seeking a suitable place for their child’s education, we’d love you to direct them to us for a tour.
