News from One/Two
It has been wonderful seeing the 1/2 children settle in so well with their new friends and classroom. Over the last few days, the children have been happily participating in well-being activities and learning all about their new classroom teachers and routines.
During one of the classroom activities this week, the children had time to retell their holiday adventures. What fun was had in the holidays, as can be seen on the faces of these happy students.
Our class teachers Mr. Foley and Mrs. Tarquinio will be regularly emailing parents throughout the year. Please let us know if you are not receiving these class emails. It is very important that this communication channel between classroom teachers and parents is available. Thank you.
Please remember that Mrs. Tarquinio will be teaching every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and Mr. Foley each Wednesday and Thursday. We are also very lucky to have the wonderful Jess Phillips (Learning Support Officer) in our classroom each morning.
During Term 1 the 1/2TF’s specialist/extracurricular activities and teacher timetable will look something like this:
Monday (Mrs T) - Performing Arts and (reading folders to go home)
Tuesday (Mrs T) - Japanese and PE ( children to please wear sports uniform)
Wednesday (Mr F)- *Library borrowing ( children to please bring a library bag)
Thursday (Mr F)- Art/STEAM and lunch orders due
Friday (Mrs T) - (reading folders returned) and lunch order day
*Library may not occur every week, depending on the time constraints of the day.
F/1/2 BBQ Night
Please keep free Feburary the 17th for our F/1/2 BBQ Night! More info will be sent out early next week!
