Competitions

Enter the Very Short Film Festival

Entries are now open to the Very Short Film Festival. Get creative in a short 2–5 minute film which includes a reference to our 2023 theme ‘CHIP’ for your chance to win from a range of prizes. Join us on the red carpet to announce the winning films at 5.30pm, Friday 26 May 2023 at Spring Bay Mill, Triabunna, Tasmania.

The festival is a vehicle for social change – a place where diverse voices are front and centre in an environment full of opportunity. Using the power of storytelling through film, the festival provides a chance for creative sides to be discovered and existing skills sharpened. It’s where many of the entrants pick up a camera to shoot something for the first time in years (or ever!).

Entries close Monday 17 April 2023.
