Indigenous Smoking Ceremony

On Friday 3 February at 9:00am we welcome all families to join us for an Indigenous smoking ritual to be held on our school grounds. This ritual will be performed by Jaeden Williams, a Yalukit Willam man of the Boonwurrung. This cleansing ceremony is to clear the path for a healthy, happy 2023 at our school and to acknowledge and respect its People and place. We will also have onsite from 8.30 onwards, Coffee Rider, who will be selling coffee and tea for your enjoyment. Parent Information Night (Zoom sessions) with Class teachers

Tuesday 7 February 4:00-5:00 pm: Teacher - Class Information Zoom session for parents. Links will be sent prior to the night. Teachers will introduce themselves and provide information regarding classroom routines, expectations, home learning, term overview and will host a Q&A.

Parent teacher exchange

Face to face parent teacher exchange meetings will be held on Wednesday 8 February. Please look out for the Operoo communication regarding booking a time.

As this is very early in the term these are not parent teacher interviews, but instead an opportunity for you to discuss your child with their class teacher.

Beginning of the School Year Mass

To mark the beginning of the school year we will celebrate as a school, Mass on the morning of Friday 10 February at 9:00am.  We invite all families to join us for this special occasion where we will welcome all our staff and students and present our Year 6 leaders for 2023 with their badges.

School Photos

School photos will take place on Monday 27 February. Children are to be in correct summer uniform including black school shoes. Information regarding orders will be sent home shortly.
