YEAR 3-6 SWIMMING TRIALS 2023 

The HOLT District Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 17th February 2023 at Oakleigh Recreation Centre.

In order to select two boys and two girls in each event we will be holding our swimming trials at GESAC – Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre on Thursday 2nd February between 9.30-10.30am. It is compulsory for all Year 6 students to attend so we can assess their 50m swim as part of the Water Safety Certificate. We encourage students in Year 3/4/5 or 6 who would like to represent our school in the events of freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, or butterfly to trial. Please note that we will only be taking competent swimmers to the district carnival, so each child must complete their nominated swimming stroke for 50m non-stop in a confident manner.

Further information and permission will go out on the first week of Term 1 2023.
