Support Our Hands on Learning Program Through Grill'd Local Matters
Each calendar month, every Grill'd restaurant across Australia select three approved local community initiatives to be part of their Local Matters program. Local Matters is Grill'd's community donation program that aims to provide support to groups, organisations and causes that serve their local communities.
This March, the Grill'd Restaurant located in Ballarat is supporting our Hands on Learning program here at Beaufort Secondary College. Grill'd Ballarat will split a donation of $500 between our Hands on Learning program and two other community causes.
How does Local Matters work?
In order for our Hands on Learning program to be provided with the winning $300 donation, it must receive the most tokens at the Grill'd restaurant in Ballarat.
Every burger that is sold in store at Grill'd Ballarat receives a bottle cap token with the order. The token can be placed into one of the three jars near the counter that collects the votes for the local groups, organisations or causes of the month. One token counts as one vote.
At the end of the month, all tokens are counted and the local group, organisation or cause with the most votes wins the $300 donation. The two remaining participants receive a $100 donation each.
How can you support our Hands on Learning program through Grill'd Local Matters?
Beaufort Secondary College would appreciate the support from our local community in Local Matters so our Hands on Learning program can receive the largest donation.
Hands on Learning will use this money for resources, equipment and materials that are vital to providing worthwhile learning experiences for our students.
We encourage all members of the Beaufort and Beaufort Secondary College communities to visit Grill'd Ballarat this March and purchase a burger to support our program.
