Year 7's Start to the Year 2022 

It has been a great start with plenty of smiling faces and budding friendships. The week began with our Year 7 and Senior Students onsite on Tuesday 1st February. Our Year 7s spent time trying to navigate their new lockers. This is a lesson in itself; practise and patience is key. Students have settled into their Form Groups, are beginning to master their timetables, and have soaked up the fantastic learning opportunities we have at BSC. 

Wednesday saw the rest of our students back on campus and our Year 7s soon realised that Secondary School is a busy place and they are no longer the ‘big kids’ of school. However, they bravely soldiered on and managed to navigate the hallways and corridors full of bigger and noisier older students. The rest of the week was about getting into the routine of school and adapting to change. 

Teachers and Staff have commented on the behaviour and attitude in the classroom; it has been excellent and they have set a very high standard to begin the year. We challenge our Year 7s to maintain these standards and keep this great start going.
