Welcome Back  

Welcome back to a new year at Beaufort Secondary College

We’d like to welcome everyone, especially new families and staff, back to school for 2022. We hope you have had a relaxing break and taken the opportunity to spend time with family and friends, doing what you enjoy most. Our staff returned on Friday 28th January, and we used this day and the following Monday to prepare ourselves and our classes for the return of students, as well as to reconnect with each other and share some stories about our break. Students returned in stages; Years 7, 11 and 12 on the Tuesday and Years 8, 9 and 10 on the Wednesday. It was terrific to see all our students back and welcoming new members of our community. It never ceases to amaze us how much our students grow and develop over the 6-week break, and we enjoy catching up on what they have done over their holidays. We are really looking forward to the year and working together to achieve great things.

We have our House Swimming Trials on Friday 11th of February during Periods 5 and 6, down at the Beaufort Pool. This involves our Year 7 – 10 students, and is always a great afternoon. Our House Swimming Sports are scheduled for Friday 18th of February. This is an all-day event, and we encourage our students and staff to come dressed in their House colours and be part of a great day. Students should come to school and we will walk down to the pool together. At the end of the day all students, including bus travellers, will be dismissed from the pool, where buses will collect them.

• The Year 11 Biology excursion (Wednesday 23rd of February)
• The Year 11 Studio Arts Excursion (Thursday 24th of February)
• Our House Aths Trials during Periods 5 and 6 on the school oval for our Year 7 – 10 students (Thursday 24th of February)
