Hello, SFS Community and a big welcome to all our new families. Fingers crossed that 2022 is kinder to us and we'll be able to do so much more for the students.

PFA Annual General Meeting (AGM)
As many may recall the last year’s AGM was postponed. This has now been scheduled for Tuesday 22nd February. As the tenure for the current executive team has ended, the 2022 PFA Committee and executive team will be elected at the AGM. We really encourage all parents to join, as the PFA is a vital part of the school community and enriches our kids’ school experience. We get to organise all the fun activities at school that the kids love!! The 2021 PFA Committee did a wonderful job last year and I thank them for all their efforts.
As the outgoing 2021 PFA Committee, we just wanted to update everyone on a couple of things.
Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Tuesday) – Tuesday 1st March
Until the new PFA committee is elected, Christine has asked the previous committee to organise one last event: Pancake Day. We are happy to help out because we don’t want the kids to miss out on pancakes!! Stay tuned for further updates and check the newsletter.
Second Uniform Shop
We are waiting to hear from school about if and when the second hand uniform shop can be opened. We will let you know as soon as we hear back
Fun Friday
Icy Poles Fridays are making a comeback this term. As parents are not allowed onsite in February, Christine has kindly volunteered to sell icy poles on Fridays at first lunch for just 50c!!! This will start next Friday. We will post reminders on Facebook and in the newsletter, so no one forgets their 50c.
