Parents and Friends Annual General Meeting

It was great to meet some parents last night at the Annual General Meeting. The Parents and Friends reformed for 2022 with a new president.

Thanks to Grant Shawcross for his leadership for the last 4 years. He has initiated many new events and for this we, as a community are grateful.

Executive for 2022:

President:Alison McDonald

Vice President: Kerry Ryan

Secretary: Beck Wolfe

Catering: Sarah McInnes

General Committee: Beck O'Sullivan

There were many items discussed and we are looking forward to the easing of restrictions soon so we can plan for the rest of the year. Attached to this page are the minutes and reports from last nights meeting.

Class Reps:

If you have the desire to make sure St Joseph’s Primary School does all it can to provide better outcomes for all learners. Then we need you!

Class Representatives will be the main line of communication and major support for enabling all whole school social events.

Whilst working with the Principal and PnF Executive, class representatives would be responsible to:

  • ensure that St Joseph’s is a community that provides a welcoming, happy, safe and inclusive environment for all
  • liaise with parents/carers of learners
  • help up welcome new families into the school/classroom
  • watch out for the pastoral wellbeing of all families and communicate with the Principal
  • provide personal invitations to all school events
  • assist with school events and learning walks, when available
  • complete a volunteer pack
  • maintain an up-to-date Working With Children Check

Class Representatives will not be expected to be responsible for organising EVERY event, they will work with the Principal and PNF Executive to gather volunteers to do this.

If you think you are able to contribute in this way, please let me (Liz) know.
