GREAT NEWS FOR OSHC

WE RECEIVED A EXCEEDING RATING FOR OUR OSHC PROGRAM

In March, we had a recent assessment and rating of our service under the National Quality Framework (NQF) in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 (National Law).

This report includes a rating level for each of the seven quality areas in the National Quality Standard and the overall rating for our service.

In determining the ratings, the Department of Education and Training (the Department) has undertaken a rigorous assessment of the quality of our service against the NQS and the National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 (National Regulations). The assessment and rating report has been prepared to take into account all of the information and evidence available at the time of the visit.

Below is basic information about the rating levels and attached is a copy of our ratings.

If you would like further information or would like to read the whole report document just let us know.

We are very proud of our work and the high quality program we provide for our families and children

OSHC Program in Term 2

Before School Care and After School Care are currently still running to support working families.

This ensures that family’s using the care and supervision program provided by the school are still able to have care for their working hours.

There is no need to cancel your regular booking if you are not using this service. Your bookings will be marked as absent each day and no fees will be charged to families.

The government are not counting your absent days used from now until the end of the financial year.

When you are able to re-join the OSHC program or your situation changes, please give us a few days’ notice of your need to restart your bookings. This ensure we are able to have the correct staffing requirements.

July Vacation Care Program

We are starting the planning for the next vacation care program. We will be offering a program for the 2 weeks period without any excursions due to current health concerns. We will be booking incursions for many of the days and plan some exciting in-house days.

Programs forms will be available early June so keep an eye pout or email us if you haven’t received a copy.
