Parkdale Beach Patrol

Parkdale Beach Patrol is a local beach clean up group who meet once a month on Sundays to pick up rubbish from Parkdale Beach.

The next beach clean up is 17th December from 10am until 11am, meeting at the undercover picnic area which is attached to the Parkdale Beach Cafe. This is the Christmas clean up and there will be a Christmas morning tea afterwards. Please come and join us!

Yum Boxes

Are you looking for a more sustainable and healthy way to pack your child's lunch? A Kingswood parent has recommended the 'YumBox' as a great way to make sure you're packing your child a healthy lunch with no need for wrappers or cling wrap.

This would be a great lunchbox option to buy ready for next year. Check them out here https://www.bentoland.com.au/yumbox-leakproof-bento-box-and-yumbox-minisnack/

Green Team News

Thank you to all of the students who have been coming to the Green Team on Friday lunchtimes this year. A group of 30 students have been doing lots of activities over the year to promote sustainability at Kingswood. Last week we had a lot of fun making our own paper using the paper from the paper shredder in the office which would otherwise have been thrown away. Check out the photos!
