MCC last youth mass for 2019 will be celebrated this Sunday 3rd Nov @ 9am in our College Chapel hosted by our Year 7 students!
It would be great to see you all there!
Mental Health and Wellbeing Deanery Art Competition
Want to use your amazing art skills for a good cause? Then this might be the competition for you!
We are looking for students across the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga to submit artworks that positively reflect youth, mental health and wellbeing. From there, 8 winning artworks will be chosen (there will be 2 winners per Deanery) and all winners will receive a $50 gift card. The winning artworks will then be used as the imagery on information cards that advise young people of their local mental health support and 24 hour support options also available. These cards will then be distributed across every school in the Diocese!
All you need to do is submit via post or email your artwork (no larger than A4 size), along with your name, the school you attend and year level to: lehmans1@ww.catholic.edu.au. Submissions close on: Monday 18th November 2019.
Winners will be chosen by Friday 22nd November 2019 with the announcement to follow.

Compass Parent Portal
Year 11 Reports Access- Compass Parent Portal
To access your student's Semester reports we have turned on the Compass Parent Portal for Year 11 families early. (release date for all other year levels will be week 5)
You should have received an email with your username & temporary passwords. This can be used to access the Compass Website or Phone app. Information on how to use Compass and its many features head over to our new Parent Portal - MCC Parent Portal

What is Compass?
Compass is a fully featured student information system that schools in Catholic Education - Diocese of Wagga Wagga use to coordinate information, services and support for each and every student. The system provides opportunities to staff, students and parents/guardians to interact with the system via secured methods. For parent/guardians, a school will issue each person with their own unique username and initial password (week 5). Each user then has the ability to update their password to something they only know.

For links and access to all of our web services we have created a new "Parent Portal" site MCC Parent Portal. From here you can find out how to access our new student information system "Compass" and its many features.
Over the following weeks we will be uploading 'how to' videos and help guides.
Reminder Re Attendance SMS's
On Monday we starting sending out SMS notification for non-attendance where no reason had been previously given. Thankyou to everyone who has started entering notes directly into Compass already.
This is just a follow up reminder that it is a requirement that the "Details / Comments" section is filled in with a valid reason for the students absence. Leaving this blank will result in the reason being marked as "Unjustified" on the record.
If you have multiple students away on the same morning you will receive multiple link SMS's and will need to enter a reason on all students as this will be reflected on their digital records.
